The shop's sister record label Defend Vinyl Records is about to put out its fifth release - Bill Nickson's 'Grave Songs/Thoughts On Love' EPs. We're massively proud of the records we've put out over the two years of the label's existence and we're so excited to have Bill join the roster.
There's some very exciting news about the label coming up soon that we can't wait to share with you so watch this space!

New Look Defend!
There have been a few changes to the shop you may have noticed if you've been in over the last couple of weeks! There is a brand new shelving unit in the middle of the shop floor and a number of new shelves on the walls around the place.
I'd always intended to get the centre unit but didn't have enough stock to justify it when the shop opened. Now it's a big help in highlighting the latest preowned stock just in, the best of the month's new releases, sale stock and of course, Defend Vinyl Records releases.
The new walls on the shelves are a great way to show off the shop's Hot Ticket Items as well as display more new releases.
Plus, as a number as people have remarked, now it looks more like a real record shop. So that's good.
