By the time Ivy’s second album, Apartment Life, was released in 1997 the band had already established themselves as familiar faces on the indie scene. They had toured the country opening for Edwyn Collins and Lloyd Cole and bassist Adam Schlesinger was enjoying success with his side project, Fountains of Wayne.
Includes performances from: Dean Wareham (Luna), Stan Demeski (Luna/Feelies), James Iha (Smashing Pumpkins), Chris Collingwood & Jody Porter (Fountains of Wayne) and Alan “Mr. Fabulous” Rubin (The Blues Brothers).
Songs from the album were used in the movie Something About Mary and the TV show Felicity.
